Monte Carmo Enduro Tour

Finale Ligure Classic – E-Enduro

description

Private Guided Tour・Pietra Ligure・2 4×4 uplift

Big mountains, raw terrain, and the most iconic stages of the Enduro World Series. This is the ultimate Pietra Ligure experience. Massive vertical drops and technical riding on the slopes of Monte Carmo. This tour is designed for riders who want to test their skills on the legendary stages that defined the EWS. A 40-minute uplift to Giogo di Giustenice kicks things off. From there, we drop straight into the trilogy: Hiroshima, Hell Boy 1, and Hell Boy 2. Over 5 km of pure adrenaline with high-speed compressions, berms, and technical drops. After a second uplift, we tackle the Oltrefinale and Stai Karmo lines, pure natural Pietra trails. This is where it gets real. A 650m climb (mix of pedaling and hike-a-bike) takes us back toward the peak. Packed lunch at the pass, then a final 30-minute push to the summit of Monte Carmo. The 360° view is the best in the region – soak it in, because the descent is brutal. Choose your weapon: the Karma Trail. Nearly 8 km of S4 rated, technical EWS history that drops you all the way down to Loano. Rocks, switchbacks, and pure physical riding.

Karma Trail: The Ultimate Descent

The Karma Trail is not just a trail; it is a pilgrimage. Starting from Sella del Monte Carmo (1,350 m), this legendary trail offers one of the longest and most diverse descents in the Finale Outdoor Region.

The Terrain: Get ready for a real journey through different ecosystems. It starts with an alpine feel—open ridges and technical rock gardens—before plunging into dense beech forests. As you descend, the trail transforms into fast, flowy sections mixed with classic Ligurian “scassato” (rugged, rocky terrain), ending at the valley floor.

Why you should ride it:

Massive Vertical Drop: Over 1,000 meters of pure downhill bliss. (Nota: Ho cambiato “elevation gain” in “vertical drop”, perché “gain” si usa per la salita, “drop” o “descent” per la discesa).

Physical Challenge: It requires endurance and focus, rewarding you with world-class flow.

360° Panorama: On clear days, you can see the mountains of Corsica from the start and the entire Ligurian coastline during the descent.

September, October, November, March, April and May are considered the best months for MTB riding in Finale Ligure thanks to stable temperatures, reduced summer traffic and optimal trail conditions. During these periods, the terrain typically offers the best balance between grip, dry surfaces and rideable natural singletracks, making the area ideal for enduro, shuttle-assisted riding and long technical descents. Spring and autumn also provide the most consistent riding conditions across zones such as Base Nato, Melogno and the Finale Outdoor Region, with cooler weather and excellent visibility on coastal and inland trails.
