Why Choose Finale MTB

Choosing the right summer camp means choosing the right people. At Finale MTB, we believe that an unforgettable experience is created by passionate guides, small groups and a carefully designed programme that combines learning, adventure and fun.

Our instructors are experienced mountain bikers who know every trail, every viewpoint and every corner of the Finale Outdoor Region. More importantly, they know how to work with children and teenagers, creating a positive environment where every participant feels encouraged to improve at their own pace.

Rather than focusing only on performance, we help young riders develop confidence, independence and respect for nature while enjoying one of Europe’s most iconic mountain bike destinations.

Every activity is carefully planned to balance skill development, outdoor adventure and teamwork, allowing participants to discover new challenges, build lasting friendships and create memories that will stay with them long after the camp has ended.

Whether it is their first experience on mountain bike trails or they already have solid riding skills, every participant receives the attention, encouragement and support needed to enjoy an unforgettable week in Finale Ligure.

Why Finale Ligure?

Finale Ligure is recognised as one of Europe’s premier outdoor destinations and has become a benchmark for mountain biking thanks to its unique combination of natural terrain, Mediterranean climate and extensive trail network.

Surrounded by forests, limestone cliffs and the Ligurian Sea, the Finale Outdoor Region offers an incredible variety of riding opportunities, making it the ideal location for children and teenagers to discover mountain biking in a safe, inspiring and ever-changing environment.

Every day brings new adventures. From scenic coastal viewpoints to shaded woodland trails and historic mountain villages, participants experience landscapes that are as diverse as the activities themselves. Beyond mountain biking, Finale Ligure also offers world-class climbing, spectacular hiking routes and countless opportunities to enjoy nature in an active way.

Its welcoming atmosphere, outdoor culture and exceptional climate make Finale Ligure the perfect destination for a summer camp where sport, exploration and personal growth come together to create an unforgettable experience.

Pre-Registration

To guarantee the highest quality experience, every Finale MTB Summer Camp is confirmed only after the minimum number of participants has been reached.

For this reason, we first collect pre-registrations. This allows us to organise the groups, plan the activities and confirm that the camp will take place on the selected dates.

Once the minimum number of participants has been reached, pre-registered families will receive a confirmation email with all the final details and instructions to secure their place by paying the required deposit.

There is no payment required during the pre-registration phase. The deposit is only requested after the camp has been officially confirmed.

We recommend pre-registering as early as possible, as places are limited and registrations are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis once the minimum number of participants has been reached.

Why Mountain Biking Is the Perfect Sport for Children and Teenagers

Mountain biking is much more than simply riding a bicycle. It is a sport that encourages children and teenagers to explore, solve problems, build confidence and develop important life skills while having fun in the outdoors.

Every trail presents new challenges that help young riders improve their balance, coordination, decision-making and bike control. As their skills grow, so does their self-confidence. Learning to overcome obstacles, support teammates and achieve personal goals creates a sense of accomplishment that extends far beyond the trail.

Unlike many traditional sports, mountain biking combines physical activity with exploration and adventure. Children spend their days surrounded by nature, discovering new landscapes, breathing fresh air and disconnecting from screens while creating unforgettable memories with new friends.

At Finale MTB, we believe that every ride is an opportunity to learn something new. Our goal is not only to help participants become better mountain bikers, but also to encourage independence, responsibility, teamwork and a lifelong passion for outdoor sports.

More Than Just Mountain Biking

Mountain biking is at the heart of our Summer Camp, but it is only part of the experience. Throughout the week, participants enjoy a variety of outdoor activities designed to develop new skills, discover the natural beauty of Finale Ligure and experience adventure from different perspectives.

Every activity complements the others, creating a balanced programme that combines sport, learning, exploration and fun in a safe and inspiring environment.

Mountain Biking

Mountain biking is the core of the Summer Camp. Guided rides, skills coaching and trail sessions help participants improve their riding technique while exploring some of the most iconic trails in the Finale Outdoor Region. Every ride is adapted to the age and experience of the group, allowing each participant to progress with confidence while enjoying unforgettable days on the bike.

Rock Climbing

During the week, participants experience an exciting rock climbing session with qualified instructors. Climbing develops balance, coordination, concentration and self-confidence while introducing children and teenagers to another of Finale Ligure’s world-famous outdoor activities. It is a fun and rewarding challenge that perfectly complements mountain biking.

Hiking Adventures

Not every adventure happens on two wheels. Guided hikes allow participants to discover spectacular viewpoints, forests and hidden corners of the Finale Outdoor Region while learning about the local environment. Hiking encourages curiosity, teamwork and a deeper connection with nature.

Workshop

Learning how to look after a mountain bike is an essential part of becoming an independent rider. Through practical workshops, participants discover the basics of bike maintenance, including fixing a puncture, checking tyre pressure, cleaning the drivetrain and performing simple safety checks before every ride.

Team Activities

The Summer Camp is also about friendship, teamwork and shared experiences. Throughout the week, participants take part in group activities that encourage collaboration, communication and respect for others, creating an international atmosphere where new friendships naturally grow.

What Participants Will Learn

Every activity at the Finale MTB Summer Camp is designed to help children and teenagers grow both on and off the bike. Throughout the week, participants develop technical mountain biking skills while also building confidence, independence and teamwork through shared outdoor experiences.

The goal is not simply to become a better rider, but to become a more confident, responsible and capable young person.

Mountain Bike Skills

Throughout the camp, participants progressively improve their riding technique through guided coaching sessions, practical exercises and real trail experiences.

They will learn how to:

  • Ride with greater balance and control.
  • Position their body correctly on climbs and descents.
  • Brake efficiently and safely.
  • Corner with confidence on different types of terrain.
  • Choose the best riding lines.
  • Improve stability over roots, rocks and uneven surfaces.
  • Ride more efficiently and confidently on natural trails.
  • Understand and respect trail etiquette and outdoor safety.

General Skills

The Summer Camp is about much more than mountain biking. Every ride, every activity and every shared experience helps participants develop valuable skills that they will carry with them long after the camp has ended.

Throughout the week they will learn to:

  • Build self-confidence through personal achievement.
  • Become more independent and responsible.
  • Work together and support other riders.
  • Solve problems and adapt to new situations.
  • Respect nature and the outdoor environment.
  • Communicate and make new friends from different countries.
  • Develop resilience by overcoming challenges.
  • Enjoy an active lifestyle away from screens and digital distractions.

A Typical Week at the Finale MTB Summer Camp

Every day at the Finale MTB Summer Camp is carefully planned to create the perfect balance between adventure, learning and fun. From the moment participants arrive until the final day, every activity is designed to keep them active, engaged and motivated while enjoying everything the Finale Outdoor Region has to offer.

Mountain bike rides, skills coaching, outdoor adventures and group activities are combined into a dynamic programme that allows young riders to improve their abilities, discover new sports and create unforgettable memories with new friends.

Although each day follows a different schedule, every experience shares the same philosophy: learn through adventure, challenge yourself, support others and enjoy every moment outdoors.

A Week Full of Adventure

Throughout the week, participants explore different riding areas across the Finale Outdoor Region, discovering new trails and landscapes every day. Mountain bike rides are complemented by climbing sessions, hiking adventures, bike mechanics workshops and team activities, creating a varied programme that keeps every day exciting and different.

The schedule is adapted to weather conditions, group abilities and trail conditions to ensure the best possible experience while maintaining the highest standards of safety and enjoyment.

Learning Every Day

Every activity is an opportunity to learn. Whether improving riding technique on the trails, discovering how to repair a puncture, reaching the top of a climbing route or helping another participant overcome a challenge, children and teenagers continuously develop new skills without even realising they are learning.

This combination of sport, adventure and education makes every day both rewarding and unforgettable.

An International Experience

One of the most rewarding aspects of the Summer Camp is the opportunity to meet young riders from different countries who share the same passion for mountain biking and outdoor sports.

Friendships grow naturally through shared adventures, teamwork and everyday experiences, creating an open, welcoming and international atmosphere that often becomes one of the most memorable parts of the entire week.

Disconnect to Reconnect

Throughout the Summer Camp, we encourage participants to spend less time on their phones and more time enjoying outdoor adventures, building friendships and creating unforgettable memories together.

By disconnecting from everyday digital routines, children and teenagers have the opportunity to reconnect with nature, develop stronger social relationships and fully experience everything the Finale Outdoor Region has to offer.

Learning to Respect Nature

Respect for the environment is an important part of every day at the Summer Camp. Alongside mountain biking and outdoor activities, participants learn simple but valuable habits such as respecting the trails, caring for shared spaces and separating waste for recycling.

These everyday actions help children and teenagers develop a greater sense of responsibility towards nature and the outdoor places they explore.

Safety Comes First

The safety and well-being of every participant are our highest priorities. Every activity at the Finale MTB Summer Camp is carefully planned and supervised to provide a safe, enjoyable and positive environment where children and teenagers can learn, explore and build confidence at their own pace.

Our experienced guides continuously assess trail conditions, weather and group abilities, adapting each activity whenever necessary to ensure the best possible experience while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Rather than pushing young riders beyond their limits, we encourage steady progression, allowing every participant to improve through confidence, practice and enjoyment.

Qualified and Experienced Guides

All activities are led by experienced mountain bike guides who are passionate about working with children and teenagers. Their role goes far beyond teaching riding skills, they motivate, support and create an environment where every participant feels comfortable, included and encouraged throughout the week.

Small Groups

Working with small groups allows our guides to give every participant the attention they deserve. It also creates a more relaxed atmosphere where children can ask questions, progress at their own pace and enjoy a more personal learning experience.

Activities Adapted to Every Rider

Children and teenagers arrive with different ages, abilities and previous riding experience. For this reason, activities and riding groups are organised according to skill level whenever possible, ensuring that every participant enjoys appropriate challenges while riding safely and confidently.

Adventure with Responsibility

Learning how to ride safely is just as important as learning new techniques. Throughout the Summer Camp, participants develop awareness, responsibility and respect for both the natural environment and the people around them.

Understanding how to make good decisions on the trail, support teammates and respect nature becomes an essential part of the experience, helping young riders build habits that will stay with them for years to come.

Why Parents Trust Finale MTB

Choosing a summer camp means placing your trust in the people who will guide, support and look after your child throughout the week. At Finale MTB, we take this responsibility seriously and work every day to create an environment where children feel safe, motivated and inspired to explore the outdoors.

Our philosophy goes beyond teaching mountain biking. We believe that every participant should return home with greater confidence, new friendships and unforgettable memories, as well as improved riding skills.

Parents choose Finale MTB because we combine professional guiding, carefully planned activities and genuine passion for outdoor education into one complete experience.

Professional Guides

Our guides are experienced mountain bikers who know the Finale Outdoor Region inside out. They combine technical expertise with the ability to work with children and teenagers, creating a positive and supportive learning environment.

A Safe and Positive Environment

Every participant is encouraged to learn at their own pace. We create an atmosphere where children feel comfortable asking questions, trying new challenges and supporting one another without pressure or unnecessary competition.

Small Groups, Personal Attention

Keeping groups small allows us to focus on every participant, adapting activities whenever necessary and ensuring that everyone receives the attention, encouragement and guidance they deserve.

An Experience That Lasts Beyond the Camp

The skills developed during the Summer Camp extend far beyond mountain biking. Participants build confidence, independence, teamwork and respect for nature while creating memories and friendships that often continue long after the week has ended.
