Poggio Grande tour is designed for those bikers who enjoy both trails and adventure and the discovery of new and wonderful areas.Long, little-known trails, sea-view peaks, ancient villages and a smattering of history will be the protagonists of this fun day. White rocks, small peaks, meadows, ancient shepherd’s huts, a priceless panorama and technical passages. At the end of the route, we will back to Finalborgo by train for the aperitivo. The day begins with a mechanised ascent to Forte Melogno and a short ride through the Barbottina forest. From here, a long mix of flow and technical passages will take us to Bardineto. A quick espresso and then off to the next trail. Here, an impressive mountain landscape will mingle with the sea and a mix of single trails and toboggans will put a smile on our faces. A short dirt bike ride and we are ready for another fun trail that will pave the way for lunch. We will have lunch in Castelvecchio in a typical Italian osteria in the Ligurian hinterland, nestled in an ancient medieval village. Now, with our bellies full, we pedal towards the main attraction of this experience, a long ridge between Albenga and Borghetto that will give our eyes a thrill.

• 8:30 – Meeting ( GPS position during check-out )

• 9:00 – 1° uplift ( Forte )

• 9:40 – Start riding: Tour begins with a With a pedaled transfer of about 35 minutes through the protected Barbottina forest, the largest beech forest in Europe, we reach the start of the magnificent Bardineto trails.

• 13:00 – Lunch break: Affiliated restaurant or Sandwiches.

• 14:00 – Start afternoon session: After lunch we will tackle a climb, never too steep, to reach the first trail of the afternoon. We usually have time to ride 2 trails before heading to the train station.

• 16:30 – Train to Finale Ligure: Tickets will be purchased in the afternoon together with the guide.

• 17:00 – Back to Finalborgo ( Aperitivo ! )

• Cancellation: Free up to 5 days

• The displayed price is based on a group of 4 riders. Each additional rider is charged €50, up to a maximum of 8 riders.
