Description

Big mountains, raw terrain, and the most iconic stages of the Enduro World Series. The Monte Carmo E-Enduro Tour is the ultimate backcountry experience for riders seeking advanced e bike Finale Ligure and Pietra Ligure MTB lines. Engineered specifically for ITRS Advanced riders, this tour delivers massive vertical drops and technical riding across the slopes of Monte Carmo in the Finale Outdoor Region.

A 40-minute bike shuttle Pietra Ligure uplift to Giogo di Giustenice kicks things off. From there, riders drop straight into the ridge trilogy: Hiroshima, Hell Boy I, and Hell Boy II. This constitutes over 5 km of riding with high-speed compressions, berms, and technical rock drops. After a second mechanized 4×4 uplift, the route tackles the Oltrefinale and Stai Karmo lines, featuring pure natural Pietra singletracks.

Connecting back toward the peak requires a 650 m climb combining steep technical E-MTB pedaling, a 15-minute bike push, and a 10-minute portage section. Following a packed lunch at the pass and a push to the summit of Monte Carmo (1,350 m), the descent begins on the legendary Karma Trail Finale Ligure: nearly 8 km of S4 trail terrain that drops 1,104 m continuously down toward Loano, featuring rock gardens, switchbacks, and sustained physical riding.

Faq

This tour is strictly rated ITRS Advanced (STS S3–S4). Riders must be fully proficient on steep alpine limestone, loose rock gardens, high-speed compressions, and tight off-camber switchbacks like those found on the EWS Karma Trail.

Yes. If you are not bringing your own bike, high-end FL e-bike rent Finale and enduro bike rental services are available. We coordinate with local rental shops to provide full-suspension E-MTBs (160 mm+ travel) equipped with robust tubeless tires suited for Pietra Ligure terrain.

No. There are no charging points along the mountain route. You must begin the tour with a 100% charged battery (minimum 500 Wh, ideally 625 Wh or 750 Wh) and ride primarily in Eco and Tour modes during the 1,260 m of climbing.

Pietra Ligure percorsi MTB on Monte Carmo feature higher alpine elevations, longer continuous vertical descents (-1,104 m on Karma Trail alone), and a rougher, more natural backcountry rock surface compared to the standard coastal singletracks of Finale Ligure.

We utilize dedicated 4×4 shuttle vehicles capable of ascending the rough gravel road up to Giogo di Giustenice. Two uplifts handle the major initial elevation gains, while the final ascent to the summit is completed via technical E-MTB climbing, push-the-bike, and short portage sections.
