MTB AND E-BIKE COACHING SESSIONS AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND IN FINALE LIGURE. Training designed for riders of all ages and experience levels.

What we focus on

Basic position

It starts with the fundamentals: checking the bike and positioning your body to tackle any type of terrain. You will discover the attack position to achieve weight distribution and limb mobility, essential elements for the most challenging sections.

Breaking

Breaking performance is critical. Master the modulation of front and rear brakes to control speed without wheel lock. Learn to manage deceleration across any grade, terrain, or scenario.

Cornering

Master cornering. Learn to manage tight and wide turns, optimize body weight shifts, and utilize pedal strokes to maintain momentum and stability.

Jumps and drops

Master technical maneuvers. Learn to execute jumps and drops, and clear roots, rocks, and trail obstacles with precision.

Line choice

Master line choice. Learn to read the terrain to identify the fastest and most efficient path through technical sections. Develop the ability to look ahead and anticipate obstacles, selecting lines that maintain momentum and maximize exit speed. You will experiment with high and low lines in corners and technical features to optimize grip and control.

Bike setting and Maintenance

Master basic maintenance. Learn pre-ride inspections including tire pressure and brake checks, plus emergency repairs like flat fixes and derailleur adjustments. Optimize performance with precise bike setting: fine-tune suspension sag and rebound to match your weight and terrain. Proper ergonomics and control positioning ensure maximum handling and confidence.

What riders say

faq

Finale Ligure offers highly varied natural terrain that makes the area ideal for developing MTB riding technique across different trail conditions. Riders can improve body position, braking control, cornering and line choice on real enduro trails featuring rock sections, loose terrain, natural compressions and technical switchbacks.

Ride technique sessions in Finale Ligure take place directly on natural trails rather than artificial training areas or bike parks. This allows riders to practice technical skills in real riding conditions while adapting to terrain changes, trail speed, surface grip and elevation variations across the Finale Outdoor Region.

Enduro riding in Finale Ligure requires efficient bike control, terrain reading and body movement across long technical descents. Coaching sessions can focus on braking technique, attack position, cornering flow, obstacle management and rider stability on rocky Mediterranean terrain.

Ride technique training is suitable for both beginner riders approaching off-road MTB riding and experienced riders looking to improve downhill speed, confidence and trail efficiency. Sessions are adapted to individual skill level, progression goals and riding experience.

Technical coaching sessions often take place in riding zones such as Base Nato and the Roller Coaster area, where varied terrain allows riders to work on cornering, line choice and technical descending. These areas provide a combination of rocky sections, natural flow trails and technical enduro terrain typical of Finale Ligure.

September, October, November, March, April and May are generally considered the best periods for MTB skills coaching in Finale Ligure thanks to cooler temperatures and more consistent trail conditions. These months provide ideal conditions for technical progression on natural terrain without excessive summer heat or traffic.
