description
During Altalanga tour we will ride trails in Piedmont and Liguria, crossing 3 provinces: Savona,Cuneo, Alessandria. We will ride the first trail in Osiglia, and then move on to Priero, a medieval historical village in the province of Cuneo, which has hosted more than 10 years of regional and national level competitions.
Starting in 2006 with one of the first Enduro races, in 2007 it became one of the first stages of the new and still unknown Superenduro circuit, until 2018, when it was the eleventh Enduro event, not to mention the final of the Superenduro circuit.
From here we move to Altalanga land, in the hills between Alba and Cortemilia, places famous for eating and drinking well (do truffles and wine ring a bell?). More precisely, we are talking about Rocchetta Belbo and Castino, and here guys, there are a series of fantastic trails. On one of them the idea was born that led to the Italian enduro movement. There are maritime pines, rocky areas and steep trail. Trails as long as 3 or 4 km where the terrain changes at least 2 or 3 times with natural supports and changes of gradient where the local trail builders go to great lengths to give maximum enjoyment to those who want to ride them.
We then move on to Merana, where we will ride a lunar area unique to this area: The Calanques. They are the result of a geomorphological phenomenon of soil erosion caused by rainwater runoff on hillsides composed of clay rock. A real Freeride awaits us here, so choose your line and take a photo you won’t forget!
