Castelvecchio E-Bike Tour: Natural Trails and Medieval Charm

Discover a unique combination of mountain singletracks and medieval scenery with the Castelvecchio E-Bike Tour. This tour is designed to explore the trail network surrounding the historic village of Castelvecchio di Rocca Barbena, offering a perfect mix of fast flow, technical rock sections, and beautiful forest views.

We begin the day with an uplift to the Melogno Fort, followed by an easy approach ride through the peaceful Barbottina Forest. The first descent will lead us into the village of Bardineto, where the adventure continues with a climb towards the Castelvecchio trail area for more fun, technical descents.

The trails here offer a wide variety of difficulty levels, from blue flow lines to challenging black trails, guaranteeing smiles and adrenaline for all e-MTB riders.

Around 1:00 PM, we’ll stop for lunch at a traditional Italian osteria in the heart of the medieval village of Castelvecchio. Expect homemade food, local flavors, and a perfect espresso before heading back out for an afternoon session.

Depending on time and energy, we’ll ride 2 or 3 more trails in the afternoon. The day ends with a asphalt transfer to the train station, and back to Finale Ligure by train for a well-earned gelato and aperitivo.
